Week of March 4th

 In Language arts we are doing a fun activity to help us with our vocabulary 11 words. In this game you had to write to correct word on the board, then you got to choose if you were going to shoot the ball, or mark off another teams point. It was a fun game.
In choir they earned a free day by getting so many marbles in the container so they got to do what 
ever they wanted in that class for the day.
In band class we got new songs for our spring concert. They are called Grease, and Visions.  
It was para appreciation week day this week, so on Monday they decorated the staff break room with streamers and balloons along with food.

In health we are finishing up our Self-Esteem unit. As you can see we are taking notes again.  Now it is before the test, and we are prepping for it.

October 1st - Homecoming Week!!

We had our first student of the month winners for the school year! Good job to everyone who was a candidate and especially the winners! This week was Homecoming so we had lots of fun and celebration. We got to play games and have pep rallies and we chose a homecoming king and queen. Then we had the tailgating party in the lunch room and then the football game! It was a fun week overall! Sorry for the lack of pictures, we were all busy having too much FUN!

November 26-30

We are reading a book called The Outsiders . I t is about these kids and their life. In the book one of the characters named Johnny kills another kid on accident, so we made "Wanted" posters for him. These are our students of the month! They all did a very  good job to be nominated for student of the month. So good work to  all of these kids!!   This was an activity we did in power hour called the escape room. We had to fill out this piece of paper with the answers to the questions. We had to go as fast as we could because the winner got PBIS points. So we all went as fast as we could and it was like a race. In the end, Mrs Bradley gave points to 1st and 2nd place winners!!

Week of February 18th

In math we built roller coasters with some IBM engineers. We had limited supplies and it was a challenge but it was fun! In Language we listened to 3 different versions of the song: Sound of silence. We had to compare the mood and tone of each one.   In Health we did a team building activity. We were put in groups and then had to line up based on  certain characteristics we have. In Basketball we had an end of the season party. We watched the movie, Hoosiers, and ate pizza and pasta.
