Week of September 10th



During art class we walked to Crossings to observe the paintings for inspiration. We took pictures of the paintings.












During Power Hour, we played a game trying to guess what the item was by listening to the facts.












For health class we presented our partners interviews. we asked eachother about ourselves.It was lots of fun and we learned alot about eachother.










During volleyball the girls won their home game 3/5 sets against PI.Go Cougars!











In Language Arts we did an inference project on finishing stories. We read short stories but the ending was covered. After we read we wrote down what we thought the ending was. Afterwards Mrs. Bradley read us the stories and their endings. Finally we compared our answers to the real endings. Most of the endings were pretty funny and shocking!














On 9/11 we watched some videos and did some activites. and learned about the planes that hit the twin towers.We also talked about where are parents were and where are teachers were when these events happened.














In science class we created compounds and elements with different kinds of artoms.It was a fun hands on experiment.

October 1st - Homecoming Week!!

We had our first student of the month winners for the school year! Good job to everyone who was a candidate and especially the winners! This week was Homecoming so we had lots of fun and celebration. We got to play games and have pep rallies and we chose a homecoming king and queen. Then we had the tailgating party in the lunch room and then the football game! It was a fun week overall! Sorry for the lack of pictures, we were all busy having too much FUN!

November 26-30

We are reading a book called The Outsiders . I t is about these kids and their life. In the book one of the characters named Johnny kills another kid on accident, so we made "Wanted" posters for him. These are our students of the month! They all did a very  good job to be nominated for student of the month. So good work to  all of these kids!!   This was an activity we did in power hour called the escape room. We had to fill out this piece of paper with the answers to the questions. We had to go as fast as we could because the winner got PBIS points. So we all went as fast as we could and it was like a race. In the end, Mrs Bradley gave points to 1st and 2nd place winners!!

April 1 to April 5

These were the March Students Of The Month. From left to right: Sommer Post, Kaleb Lochner, and Avery Brown. This week for language arts we played Grudge Ball. Grudge Ball is game where we are put into teams and each team got 10 x's. Mrs. Bradley would ask a qustion and we had to answer it on the white board. If we got it right we got to erase another teams x or shoot a ball into a basket, and if you made the basket you got to erase two x's. The winner of the game is whoever has the most x's at the end, that team win PBIS points. For history, we are reenacting World War 1.  Each person was given a country. We are not following what our country actually did in World War 1 we making our own stratigies. For art we are making 3-D perspective drawings of landscapes/towns.
