We are reading a book called The Outsiders . It is about these kids and their life. In the book one of the characters named Johnny kills another kid on accident, so we made "Wanted" posters for him.







These are our students of the month! They all did a very 
good job to be nominated for student of the month. So good work to 
all of these kids!!


 
This was an activity we did in power hour called the escape room. We had to fill out this piece of paper with the answers to the questions. We had to go as fast as we could because the winner got PBIS points. So we all went as fast as we could and it was like a race. In the end, Mrs Bradley gave points to 1st and 2nd place winners!!

October 1st - Homecoming Week!!

We had our first student of the month winners for the school year! Good job to everyone who was a candidate and especially the winners! This week was Homecoming so we had lots of fun and celebration. We got to play games and have pep rallies and we chose a homecoming king and queen. Then we had the tailgating party in the lunch room and then the football game! It was a fun week overall! Sorry for the lack of pictures, we were all busy having too much FUN!

April 1 to April 5

These were the March Students Of The Month. From left to right: Sommer Post, Kaleb Lochner, and Avery Brown. This week for language arts we played Grudge Ball. Grudge Ball is game where we are put into teams and each team got 10 x's. Mrs. Bradley would ask a qustion and we had to answer it on the white board. If we got it right we got to erase another teams x or shoot a ball into a basket, and if you made the basket you got to erase two x's. The winner of the game is whoever has the most x's at the end, that team win PBIS points. For history, we are reenacting World War 1.  Each person was given a country. We are not following what our country actually did in World War 1 we making our own stratigies. For art we are making 3-D perspective drawings of landscapes/towns.

Week of February 18th

In math we built roller coasters with some IBM engineers. We had limited supplies and it was a challenge but it was fun! In Language we listened to 3 different versions of the song: Sound of silence. We had to compare the mood and tone of each one.   In Health we did a team building activity. We were put in groups and then had to line up based on  certain characteristics we have. In Basketball we had an end of the season party. We watched the movie, Hoosiers, and ate pizza and pasta.
