Outside of the school, there was a "Mock-crash". It was for the high schoolers to tell them not to drink and drive. There was a local girl who got in a crash because someone hit her who was intoxicated. This is her car.

In science, we watched an episode of OUR PLANET. This episode had to do with how climate change was affecting animals who live on icecaps and around them.

On Saturday the boys' baseball team took part in a tournament. They got 1st place! Great job!!!

In health, we watched a video about why it is not good to do drugs.

We also had a band and choir concert. We did great!

In history we just finished World War 1. We did a simulation that was about WW1. We got to place troops, start battles, etc. It was a fun time between the allies and central powers.  This is the beloved turkey that hit Mr. Boraas Window On Wednesday. The turkey got a lot of attention that day!!  Officer Clemenson was in the Health room talking to us about vaping, drugs and smoking - we all learned how bad these things are!!

In math we finished our tessellations. The picture above is a picture of our hallway that got filled with some new math filled decorations! In health this week we worked on our Ichabod project and got to present. In the Ichabod project we got to pick if we wanted to make a brochure, a cartoon, a video, song, or a poster.  The whole point of the project is for us students to make a project showing one of our fake peers, Ichabod, all of the dangers and bad things that come and can happen with smoking. In language arts we finished up our final creativity assignment. We all wrote our own books and got to class publish them so that our classmates could read them. These were the March Students Of The Month. From left to right: Sommer Post, Kaleb Lochner, and Avery Brown. This week for language arts we played Grudge Ball. Grudge Ball is game where we are put into teams and each team got 10 x's. Mrs. Bradley would ask a qustion and we had to answer it on the white board. If we got it right we got to erase another teams x or shoot a ball into a basket, and if you made the basket you got to erase two x's. The winner of the game is whoever has the most x's at the end, that team win PBIS points. For history, we are reenacting World War 1.  Each person was given a country. We are not following what our country actually did in World War 1 we making our own stratigies. For art we are making 3-D perspective drawings of landscapes/towns.
